Happy birthday, countrymama! And, yes, I'm with you! I have spent way too much of my life worried about things in the past or in the future. I'm really working on enjoying what I have right now because it is what God has given to me and these days will never come again.

Stella, I've only worked out twice this week and I'm not sure that I will get a workout in this afternoon. I get myself so worked up before trips but I want to make sure I remember everything that I am supposed to, you know?

I also didn't too well on my water yesterday and I'm not sure how I'll do on our trip. I'll do my best.

My weight is up a pound but I think it's regular fluctuation with my cycle so I didn't change my ticker. Hopefully it will be gone or not joined by much after this trip!

W - Shooting for 5-6 cups today.

A - Going to try but not sure that I will get a workout in today. If not, will really try to spend some time in the pool tomorrow.

T - MyFitnessPal

E - Slim Fast and trail mix for breakfast, yummy PB & J for lunch, yogurt for afternoon snack and not sure about dinner just yet.

R - Turning in grades today, being done with summer teaching and getting ready for vacation.

S - Will I be able to sleep tonight???

Wow, great attitudes abound in here! I have been thinking I need to change my outlook as well. I am honestly stressing too much and letting worry, guilt, fear and whatnot get the best of me and ruin each day. And it's got to stop. So I am in too. This hasn't been a great week--my weight has fluctuated a bit but I haven't exercised much at all (other than lots of painting in the house) and now my weight has about evened out, ending back at 131.4 this a.m.. I haven't even done well with water the past couple of days--been drinking too much diet coke again. dry.gif

time to start moving it back down towards the goal.

W: goal is 5 16 oz glasses full, going to fill up now

A: leg exercises and maybe some cleaning but honestly probably won't do much more than that today.

T: break: a little shredded wheat (we are out of milk) and coffee
lunch: will be slimfast and some kind of fruit
snack if any will be a flavorice
supper: will be a quesadilla and black beans and salsa and a few tortillas
snack, maybe if, any will be a flavorice

E: stop stress eating. need to visit the grocery badly either tomorrow or Monday and restock with healthy foods--and start sticking to a menu again

R: watching my 2 oldest in Beauty and the Beast tonight--should be fun!

S: been in bed too late and sleeping too late this week. hopefully going to bed by 11ish and up by 6:45 in the a.m.

Glad to see some familiar people still here and it's always great to make new friends.

Was going to wait until August to get back on here, but couldn't figure out a valid reason to wait smile.gif

W-really need to work on this sad.gif
A-been missing a lot of days, I could say due to heat but I have a treadmill downstairs sad.gif
T-I have been doing this. Calculated that in order to reach 140lb (rock bottom goal) by my birthday next July, I need 1700 calories. Tracking on net diary
E-still trying to remember meds, need to add a multi vitamin
R-Olympics

Happy Monday!

Sooo I missed the gym this morning because i slept in. NOT a great start to the week but i can rectify and go today after work.

My excuses for needing the extra sleep.

1. Had 2 arguments with dh2b this weekend. one sat night, one sunday night, and it was emotionally draining.
2. Beaded till 1am and then went to bed so didnt get enough sleep before alarm went off.

Balancing the jewelry business, my full time job, and allowing time for fitness is going to take a lot of time and patience on my part, so i just need to remember that.

W - Water - 8 (8 oz glasses) at work.

A - Activity – WILL GO TO THE GYM AFTER WORK.

T –
Bfast: 1/3 cup of multi grain whole cereal from trader joes with 1/8 cup of raisins.
Snack: baby carrots
Lunch: salad with two hardboiled eggs, cucumber, tomatoes.
Pm snack : banana (need to buy)
dinner: egg whites and shroomies.

E - Continue to avoid processed sweets during the week.

R - Reward will be not beating myself up for sleeping in!!!

S - Sleep. 7 hrs of sleep. Beading tomorrow AM.

Best of luck girls!

Hi Davinarn, great to see you again!

Stella, you are doing great! If I argue with dh or have issues with kids, I turn to food typically. Which isn't good but it's what I do when I'm stressed or upset--so proud of you for not doing that!

W: goal is 5 16 oz glasses full, 1 down

A: leg exercises and lots of cleaning, probably not much else today

T: break: oatmeal w/a few almonds/honey/cinnamon, milk, and coffee
lunch: will be slimfast and maybe a clementine
snack if any will be a flavorice
supper: probably pizza--we are eating at a friends with kids and they are ordering pizza
snack: one small serving of the dessert I am taking. ONE SMALL SERVING!! (remember)

E: stop stress eating. need to visit the grocery badly and get back on track with a menu. Haven't been eating out too much or anything but we keep ending up eating cereal for dinner and I think dh is tired of it

R: hopefully early to bed...for once

S: all off schedule, need to aim for 11 p.m. bedtime and 6:15ish wakeup tomorrow

We can do this!

Stella-great healthy menu. Sleeping in is always nice
Amy-I hope you make it to the grocery store and get a menu planned. If only I could find the menu I started yesterday.

W-68oz so far
A-1.5 mile walk
T- brk (pizza rolls, oatmeal cream pie 540 sad.gif) lun (turkey/cheese tortilla, sun chips, watermelon, grapes, pickle 329) sup (grilled chicken, crowder peas, Texas toast, salad 412) snk (watermelon, grapes 71) total 1351 calories. Will still eat a bedtime snack, so total should end up about 1551, so below 1700 calorie goal
E-all meds taken, even my multi vitamin
R-hoping to lose the 2.2lbs I gain in 48 hrs (missed fluid pill Sunday I think)

Hi Davinarn. I didn't get to the store yet--still hanging on with just barely essentials.

holding on at about 131.6, didn't really gain even though I had 2 slices of takeout pizza last nght and dessert. I am happy with myself for sticking to ONE chocolate chip caramel cookie bar--and then the extras I left with our friends and didn't bring home

I need to start whittling it down again. I can't seem to get past 130 before I start gaining again. dry.gif Exercise would help, I need to make that a regular part of my day again in August.

W: goal is 5 16 oz glasses full, going to fill up now

A: leg exercises and lots of housecleaning/decluttering

T: break: oatmeal w/milk, honey and cinnamon, and a few almonds, cup of coffee
lunch: ?? we are out of SF. maybe almond butter on whole wheat toast
snack will be a flavorice
supper: will be a quesadilla and black beans and salsa and a few tortillas (we didn't have this the other night)
snack, maybe if, any will be a flavorice

E: need to visit the grocery still!

R: watching olympics?

S: need to go to bed early and up early tomorrow

Thanks Mommy, you are too sweet!
I did have 3 mini cupcakes from Baked by Melissa but it could have been worse.

Just to ring in the week, the wedding coordinator at our event space quit and moved somewhere else! So nerve wracking.

About yesterday.
Good news : worked out 30 min elliptical
Bad news: all the food advertising on tv while i worked out made me super hungry and i went out for thin crust pizza. had no desire/energy to make dinner at home. sad.gif

I didnt get up to bead this am. the bed was nice and cozy and i dont want my place to become a sweat shop where all i do is sleep and work. Tonight ill stop beading at 11:30 so i can take those 30 mins to unwind, do dishes and set up the launch pad. Wish me luck!! I have been BARELY fluttering since last week... but hey! at least i got my ass to the gym smile.gif

W - Water - 8 (8 oz glasses) at work.

A - Activity – N/A

T –
Bfast: 1/3 cup of multi grain whole cereal from trader joes with 1/8 cup of raisins.
Snack: baby carrots
Lunch: salad with two hardboiled eggs, cucumber, tomatoes.
Pm snack : banana
dinner: sushi with dh2b

E - Continue to avoid processed sweets during the week.

R - Reward will be not beating myself up for sleeping in!!!

S - Sleep. 7 hrs of sleep. GYM tomorrow.

Hi, EVERYONE! I went to the post-surgery appointment at the surgeon's office in Milwaukee, and everything is fine. DH went for his new job checkup and they found a little blood in his urine, but he checked out okay, WHEW! Yesterday, I actually went to work for 1.5 hours WOOT! I got a few raised eyebrows at this at the doctor's today, but oh well. Tomorrow, I'm going for 3 hours, then resting the rest of the week. laugh.gif

W- and doing pretty well- 2 to 3 Flylady bottles a day and a couple of teas
A- I have increased my standing/walking amount to 7-10 minutes at a time
T- B: oatmeal with dried apricots and a little honey, L/snack #1 cheese sandwich to eat in the truck on the way to hospital, lunch/snack #2 cottage cheese, applesauce and blue berries, D: chicken breast portion with rice and broccoli, desert as below
E- DH is bringing home French silk pie to celebrate everything. I will have a small piece minus the whipped cream
R- Reading and TV

I could Have SWORN I posted earlier. Guess it just went poof! laugh.gif

W- 2 Flylady bottles, 3 teas, small coffee
A- Went to a respectably large Target and bought some groceries, household stuff and basic school type supplies and had them bagged up really lightly and brought them in myself! laugh.gif
T-B:egg sandwich DH made, snack: good spinach hidden in it smoothie DH made, L: PBJ on cinnamon bread with applesauce, snack: a red velvet cupcake that was 300 cals and 1.29 @ Target and YUMMY, D: A serving of some fancy mushroom pasta from Target (YUMMY!), spinach sauteed in a little butter with real garlic, applesauce, a small glass of carrot/orange juice that turned out only to be 30% juice(BUMMER!), snack: whole wheat waffles with a touch of butter and local honey

E: I am STARVING all the time, BUT my weight is down to the lowest I've been since I lost the weight after DS28 was born. I've lost 2-3 pounds and am @ 110.4 today. This is normal after my type of surgery (my um bathroom stuff isn't quite normal yet either); I'm keeping track of this on my calendar and the surgeon's nurse knows about it. I'm trying to eat healthy, but have an occasional snack if I crave it. This will have to stop when I stop loosing .1 pounds a day of course! laugh.gif

R-Since I needed to get a cortisone shot in my thumb yesterday ("trigger finger or I guess trigger thumb), I can't work on hemming the new bedroom curtains, so reading and watching TV

S- Sleep is getting more normal as I'm able to increase my melatonin dose gradually. I suspect being off of all the medicines except normal Tylenol as directed for pain and my tummy med has helped as well!
