I like to wear jeans and long t-shirts in pretty colors. But, I always get them stained up. I refuse to wear stained up clothes, so I'm always having to buy more. Do any of you wear some kind of smock or apron when you are cleaning?

I wear an apron. I love it. it makes me feel like doing housework rather than just ignoring it.

I love my apron! I always wear it in the kitchen. But for other cleaning I have old pants and T shirts.

I do wear an apron for cooking. A love a pretty apron, I was just wondering if anyone wears something over thier clothes throughout the day. With little ones, it seem that I always get something on me. I was thinking about some kind of smock, but I don't want to look old and frumpy. Any ideas?

FlyLady doesn't like to wear an apron all day so she came up with a denim vest with pockets that she wears overtop her jeans and Tshirts. They used to carry it in the FlyShop, not sure if they still do, but you could try something similar.

This is about where I'm at as winter sets in. My long-legged winter clothes are all ratty and I can't find anything decent in the stores and don't want to buy more stuff that will get ratty fast again, so it looks like it will be jeans, which I've tried to avoid because I go to my job in jeans and don't want to be wearing them all the time. So I pulled out a pair of fat jeans which I kept to wear to the park, and I guess that's how I'll start transitioning from things I wouldn't want anyone to see me in but stop short of having to wear the same things at home as what I wear to my job.

I don't usually come to this thread, but the latest posts have been on the front page, so I looked in. Was glad to see the topic because it's one I've been trying to do something about also.

Did I hear the word "sweatpants"???? Noooo - step away from the sweatpants ladies please, you can do better than that!

At the moment, I'm wearing alot of skinny jeans (I am not skinny though) with flat biker type boots and long tops (to cover said not skinny bottom in skiny jeans) with some long necklaces etc.

I am all about dressing for comfort and love my jeans but you can put a high waisted belt around your top and dress it up a bit so you're still comfy but looking a bit more "pulled together" and glam.

I like it when it's cold and I can t away with wearing whatever and just have a black coat with a bright pashmina scarf and big earrings, nice and glam and zero effort!!

xxx

I like to wear yoga clothes and I top them with a vest or apron for cooking and housework.
