Hello everyone!
I hope you are all well and that those goals that did not get done were due to good weather and good company. And L. Ann - thank you for your reply! Sorting the goals into categories is a great idea! I think I shall try it some time. It is also very easy to read other people's posts when their goals are sorted into categories . That way the reader gets an overview of what the posting person's month looks like. So, I AM DONE with my baby goals! 1. remove dead flowerheads from rhododendron bushes and fertilize - done 2-4. spend some time in my "dungeon", around 15-25 mins each time. did 15+25+20mins 5. clean a stool prior to repainting 6. paint the stool - done! 3 coatings 7-9. write letters- done 10-31. Creative things, like sewing or writing DONE - I had a couple of different projects and worked on themalmost every day. My bottom line was 25 minutes a day but i did more nearly every time I started working on the projects. So what did i learn? for me, this has been about learning more about my own way of handling goals. (I was never goal oirented and I need to work on it.) Well, above all that if I keep the goals small, i don't keep procrastinating, which i have been known to do before. Next month I will throw a party for around 80 people, so I need to manage my time well. I will probably not have much time and energy for creative projects so I will try and limit myself and not get carried away just because July went all right. After all I am also going back to work in a few days. well, I will think over how to go about it! See you all in the August goal thread! |

Hey Ladies, thanks for letting me join in for July. I didn't get all 31 done, but I feel I made a fair dent in the list.
I am happily using the dirty washing draws in my laundry that were built 10yrs ago but not used for dirty washing until this month, always full of clutter. SO if nothing else, that is great progress. I won't join you for August, but will be continuing to FLY -------------------- Shellie (Sunshine and Lollipops) Finding Balance![]() Daily Routines;-Make Bed S&S Load a Day![]() What's for Dinner?
